Most wildlife can carry mites, ticks, fleas and are capable of inflicting a painful bite.
Eastern Grey Squirrel

The eastern grey squirrel weighs 14-25 ounces and is 17-20 inches long. They vary in colour from grey to black. These squirrels are especially active in the morning and evening time. They eat nuts, fruit, corn and tree seeds. 2-3 young are born in the spring and often a 2nd litter in the late summer. Adults will move their young to new locations if needed, due to weather conditions. Typically, these squirrels will find their way into roof voids and attics by chewing through or pulling on pieces of house siding.
Red Squirrel

The red squirrel eats similar to the grey squirrel but will also consume bird eggs, meat and sap. Red squirrels weights 5-11 ounces and are 10-15 inches long. They are rusty red in colouring with a grey/white under belly. They will have 2 litters each year, 3-7 young in each litter.
Stripped Skunk

Stripped skunks are the size of a common house cat, weighting 6-14 pounds and 20-32 inches in length. Skunks are black with two broad white stripes. They are known for seeking shelter under decks, sheds and foundations. The stripped skunk will have 4-7 young in the late spring or early summer, sometimes a 2nd litter is also produced in the same year.
Raccoon

Raccoons colour is reddish-brown with a grey belly and black mask on the face. A raccoon weights 12-48 pounds and is
24-38 inches in length. The Raccoon is a omnivorous and will basically eat anything from fish, fruit, birds, nuts, grains etc. Daily diets are easy to fulfil. Being a highly intelligent creature, they can become a major nuisance if food is readily available. In the spring young are born, usually 4 per litter. Raccoons are incredible climbers and easily gain access into rooftops. They have great strength to easily open up roof voids where soffits, chimneys and flashings meet gaining access easily into structures.
